Trustees Heard an Update regarding the Nevada Educator Performance Framework (NEPF)
A presentation and discussion on the 2023-2024 NEPF evaluations included information on:
- More than 14,000 teachers were evaluated on the NEPF
- 80.4% were rated Effective
- 14.5% Highly Effective
- 0.4 % Developing and 0.1% Ineffective
- 807 Administrators were evaluated
- 88% were Effective
- 10% Highly Effective
- 0.25% Developing and 0.12% Ineffective
- No Central Office or Non-NEPF employees were rated minimally effective, developing or ineffective

Trustees Heard a Budget Update
Trustees were presented with a CCSD budget update and had a discussion. Highlights of the presentation included:
- The central budget deficit remains at approximately $10M. Insufficient process documentation was referenced as the cause.
- 36 Licensed personnel were budgeted out but will be moving to a new position, 41 Support Staff were budgeted out but only 4 will lose their positions, and 5 Administrators were budgeted out but are in the process of being reassigned
- An amended final budget presentation will take place on Dec. 12.
- A cross-functional improvement cycle is underway. Recommendations are being collected.
